Angelos Challenge
In June 2008, we revealed the largest private gift in UB’s history—a $5 million donation from law alumnus Peter Angelos ’61. His dollar-for-dollar matching gift pledge will help support construction of the facility. The new building will retain the name of the existing facility, the John and Frances Angelos Law Center, which was named for his parents as part of a gift in 1991. The matching gift is designed to encourage other donors by essentially doubling the value of their gifts.
